I dreamed that I had a drift spec (or at least I think it might have been. didn't dorifto in the dream) El Camino. Why did I think it was drift spec?
Because the El Camino in my dream had tubes welded errwhere to make an exterior roll cage in the bed of the pickup similar to what you see in the picture, just much more extensive.
I just want an El Camino now. With a roll cage.

Basically, heres what I remembered in the dream
Done in paint. The black is the tube frame. When I woke up, I thought about it, and how I would go about doing it. Chop the back, chop the top, and basically, put a tube frame throughout the top that goes into the cabin. Basically, its a giant cage in the pickup portion of the chassis.
I added extra arrows (in white), because why the fuck not.

You should ask Jalopnik to replace Jason Torchinsky in the Jalop-arts department.
If you're gonna chop the back and top, you might as well start with a four-door Malibu and save an Elky in the process.

Tape paper over Jason's Beetle, draw on paper, and email it to Jalop hq?
